I love days like today, where you have no plans but find a whole bunch of rad things to do. We went to the Wicko to see Pat's band play then ended up at a barbecue. This week its actually started to feel like summer. Here's some pictures I took.
There is an amazing doll maker in Boston by the name of Mimi Kirchner that I may of just fallen in love with. She uses recycled, recused and vintage fabrics and she's made some of the raddest tattooed dolls. I wish I owned all of them. But they seem to be already sold from her etsy. Booo!
Fuck me Claire Reid's life is pretty enviable. She travels as a nomad doing guest spots at shops, to work at conventions and to exhibit her paintings all around the world. Her tattoos reflects not only they way she lives but the places she has travelled and her own spirituality. She has a style that is uniquely her own. I could literally spend hours looking at her work and still be impressed by every piece.
Tales of a frustrated small town craft shop worker who likes all things lowbrow art, tattoos, roller derby, vintage, books, pin ups, photography and makeup!
